Our Foundation
The Bhakti Field Inc. is inspired by the timeless principles of Bhakti Yoga—a tradition that teaches compassion, selfless service, gratitude, and genuine care for all living beings.
For us, Bhakti is not simply a philosophy to study; it is a way of living. It inspires us to see every person with dignity, to serve without expectation, and to recognise that acts of kindness have the power to strengthen individuals, families, and entire communities.
Whether preparing and distributing nutritious meals, responding to communities experiencing hardship, supporting volunteers, or creating spaces where people feel welcomed and valued, our service is an expression of these principles in action.
We believe that when compassion is combined with practical service, both individuals and communities are empowered to flourish.

Living Bhakti Through Service
Our charitable activities are grounded in the understanding that genuine wellbeing extends beyond physical needs alone. While food relief is often the first and most immediate response to hardship, lasting wellbeing also includes emotional resilience, meaningful relationships, purposeful service, and opportunities for personal growth.
Through community meals, volunteer programs, educational initiatives, kirtan, meditation, discussion groups, and acts of selfless service (seva), we seek to create welcoming environments where people can experience connection, belonging, and hope.
These opportunities are offered freely and inclusively, allowing each individual to engage at their own level while benefiting from a culture founded upon kindness, respect, generosity, and service to others.
The Bhakti Field
The name "The Bhakti Field" reflects our vision of cultivating conditions in which individuals and communities can grow and flourish together.
Just as a healthy field provides nourishment for seeds to take root and blossom, we aspire to create environments where compassion, generosity, resilience, and service naturally grow. Every shared meal, every volunteer, every conversation, and every act of kindness contributes to strengthening this living field.
We also recognise that each person has an inner landscape. Bhakti Yoga encourages us to cultivate qualities such as humility, gratitude, compassion, patience, and selfless service—qualities that enrich not only our own lives but also the wellbeing of those around us.
By caring for both people and communities with practical support and genuine compassion, we hope to inspire a ripple effect of kindness that extends far beyond any one individual or organisation.
"O you daughters and sons of nectar, You came from nectar, You are nectar, and you must not allow yourself to be satisfied by anything but nectar."
